Acupuncture Healing Works (“we,” “our,” or “us”) offers an SMS messaging program to send you appointment reminders, health and wellness tips, promotional offers, and clinic updates. By opting into this program, you agree to these SMS Terms & Conditions.
2. How to Opt In
You may opt in to receive SMS messages from us in any of the following ways:
- Checking the consent box on our patient intake form
- Providing your mobile number verbally or in writing with explicit consent at our clinic
- Texting a designated keyword to our business number
- Submitting your mobile number through our website contact or booking form with the SMS consent box checked
By opting in, you confirm that you are the account holder or have the account holder’s permission to opt in for the mobile number provided.
3. Message Types
Once enrolled, you may receive the following types of messages:
- Appointment reminders and confirmations
- Follow-up care instructions and health tips
- Promotional offers, seasonal specials, and clinic news
- Responses to your inquiries submitted via SMS
4. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies depending on your appointment schedule and preferences. You may receive up to 4–8 messages per month. We will not send messages more frequently than necessary.
5. Message & Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. These charges are determined by your mobile carrier and your service plan. We are not responsible for any charges incurred from your mobile carrier.
6. How to Opt Out
You may opt out of our SMS program at any time by:
- Replying STOP to any message you receive from us
- Contacting us directly at the information below and requesting removal
After texting STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent. You can re-enroll at any time by texting START or by contacting us.

We reserve the right to modify these SMS Terms & Conditions at any time. We will notify enrolled users of material changes via SMS or by posting updated terms on our website. Continued participation in the SMS program after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Compliance
This SMS program complies with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), CTIA Messaging Guidelines, and all applicable federal and state laws governing text message communications.
