Dr. Zhinzhong Nan
Dr. Zhizhong Nan, Ph.D., A.P., L.Ac., Dipl.Ac., is a distinguished Acupuncture Physician, board-certified in the United States and China.
He earned his doctorate in Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture from the esteemed Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine in China.
As a third-generation Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) physician, Dr. Nan has a rich familial legacy in the field. Seven Chinese medical doctors from his family are currently practicing in both China and the U.S. His extensive experience is complemented by his compassionate approach to patient care.
Dr. Nan’s expertise is founded on rigorous training under his uncle, Dr. Jingzhen Nan, a renowned acupuncture doctor, professor, and co-founder of the Acupuncture Institute at Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine. Additionally, he trained with his aunt, Dr. Xuehua Wang, a nationally acclaimed top-100-doctor in China and a professor at the same institution.
With 35 years of teaching experience, Dr. Nan has educated thousands of acupuncturists in China and the U.S. through TCM schools and seminars. After teaching for four years at the Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine, he moved to the United States in 1992 to teach at the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
In 1993, Dr. Nan founded Nan’s Acupuncture Clinic in Denver, Colorado. Over the years, he has helped countless patients restore their health and vitality, empowering them to lead healthier, more energized, and happier lives. His practice experience spans 35 years across China and Colorado.
Dr. Nan has been actively involved in clinical research and professional organizations to promote awareness and access to the therapeutic benefits of acupuncture. From 1993 to 1996, he conducted clinical research on pain management with Kaiser Permanente and Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado. He served as the official acupuncturist for the Denver Broncos from 1995 to 2015 and has been a board director of the Neuro-Acupuncture Institute since 2015.
Throughout his illustrious 35-year career, Dr. Nan has transformed the lives of tens of thousands of people. He holds licenses to practice in both Florida and Colorado.
